Traffic Access Management (TAM)
T/CC will draft a letter to the Town Manager regarding TAM.
Doyle Road Intersections with Brattle Street
DPW has a meeting scheduled with FS&P on 1/8/09 to discuss the project. This and the Salisbury Street sidewalks will be sent out as one package. The work on Salisbury has to be coordinated with NStar's new gas line.
Traffic Light Sequencing
The Light Department does not have the traffic light sequencing report for the Doyle/Shrewsbury intersection. It will be tracked down for the next meeting (MassHighway?).
Central Mass Regional Planning (CMRPC) Crash Data
CMRPC has submitted a "Crash Data Questionaire" for verification of accident data. Holden's data appears correct. Fatal crashes have increased 18% from 1998 to 2004. The data will be used by MassHighway to plan safer roads.
Other
The Town has submitted the Economic Stimulus Package paperwork to the State. The DPW submitted 15 projects, although only projects starting within the next 6 months apply.
Storm brush removal is projected to being in early March, once the bids have come in (FEMA required competitive bidding).
T/CC Committee members will review the draft of the committee's 2008 Annual Report.
